Booking and PaymentUpon receipt of our confirmation, a deposit of 50% of the total price must be paid, unless otherwise agreed and specified.The remaining amount must be paid not later than 50 days prior to departure. Failure to pay within the stipulated time limit gives Stubberud hunting and fishing tours the right to cancel the booking, in which case the deposit is forfeited. Failure to pay within the specified time period will result in a reminder charge of NOK 100.-. Check that the written confirmation is according to your order. If anything has to be corrected, you must immediately contact Stubberud hunting and fishing tours. Travelers under the age of 18 need written confirmation from their parents to book any tour. CancellationIf you cancel your trip at least 90 days prior to departure, your deposit, less a service fee of NOK 1000.- is refunded,provided Stubberud hunting and fishing tours can re-claim the deposit already paid to the fishing or hunting organizer. Before the Date of Departure Should it prove necessary to alter the conditions of a trip or even cancel it, you will be informed as soon as possible. If you wish any changes to the arrangement less than fifty days prior to departure, a change fee of NOK 1000.- will occur. Interruption of Stay If, for some reason, you leave the fishing or hunting district ahead of time, there will be NO refund for services not received. InsuranceWhen travelling abroad you should always have travel insurance. Please ensure that your travel insurance has sufficientcoverage. Vaccinations/HealthTravelling to different climates and environments abroad can expose you to disease and health risks. You should be awareof the dangers and how to stay healthy. Diseases which aren’t present in Norway such as yellow fever, malaria, rabies and dengue fever are common in some areas of the world. Check with your doctor as soon as possible to find out if you need any vaccinations before you travel. Please note that Stubberud hunting and fishing tours do not undertake any responsibility in connection with Vaccinations and immunisations. Passport and VisaMake sure you’ve got correct visas for the country you are visiting and that your passport is valid for the right amount of time.Please note that Stubberud hunting and fishing tours do not undertake any responsibility in connection with passport and visas. GratuitiesThis is up to the individual hunter or fisherman and consequently not included in our prices. When booking a trip we will oftengive you an indication of suitable gratuities. Import of trophies, hides and meatPlease note that Stubberud hunting and fishing tours do not undertake any responsibility in connection with the import of shottrophies to the home country of the hunter. For spices mentioned in Washington Convention, a special permit - a so-called CITES - is required. In Norway the appropriate authority is mattilsynet. Each hunter must therefore check carefully with the local authorities and arrange the necessary import documents in advance of a hunting trip. Transfer of the TripYour booked trip may be transferred to any person, who can meet all necessary conditions for participating in such a trip,when Stubberud hunting and fishing tours is given fair warning of the transfer. The person, to whom you transfer the trip, is, together with you, jointly and severally responsible for payment of any outstanding balance as well as expenses, due to the transfer. Travel Guarantee FundStubberud hunting and fishing tours is a member of the Norwegian Travel Guarantee Fund. The guarantee shall cover anyclaims that may be advanced pursuant to Pakkereiseloven (the Package Tours Act) of 25 August 1995, no 57, with later amendments and the regulations in force at any time, as well as Reisegarantifondet’s direct expenses for assistance and help in connection with events triggering use of the guarantee.
